The GunCrisis.org reporting team was on the scene at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station Friday night.
Thousands lined up to participate in the Million Hoodie March. The crowd had come together to demand justice in the case of Trayvon Martin.
Nationwide reaction has been growing since the black, unarmed 17-year-old was shot to death by a neighborhood watchdog in Florida on February 26th.
Earlier Friday, President Obama called the shooting a tragedy and vowed to get to the bottom of the case. Other groups had gathered in New York and Miami on Wednesday to voice their outrage over the shooting.
Police estimated between 5,000-8,000 participants here in Philadelphia.
