As local TV crews covered the scene, Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark and Commissioner Charles Ramsey discussed the details of a shooting that killed Clarice Douglas, a 45-year-old mother of two in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia Friday afternoon. Police believe Douglas was an innocent bystander who was struck with a stray bullet when she was caught in the crossfire of a running gun battle.
