Reports: At least five dead, five wounded in weekend shootings in Philadelphia

At least five people have died as the result of gun violence in  Philadelphia this weekend.

Shooting deaths in the Logan section of Philadelphia, and others in Cobbs Creek, Southwest and North Philadelphia — as well as other shootings in Frankford and Logan — are detailed in this report from myfoxphilly this morning.

According to NBC10, one of the victims of a double shooting in Frankford has also died.

philly.com reports a second shooting victim at the scene in Southwest Philly and their weekend violence report also includes the report of a woman shot in the mouth in Ogontz Saturday night. A previous post reports a shooting in Summerdale Friday night.

Police also shot two suspects on Saturday — one during a violent struggle and one who pointed a toy gun at officers — according to police.
