The #GunCrisis project: Growing the team and going full-time

Beginning today, GunCrisis.org will be staffed full-time for at least the duration of this summer, as we continue to seek to develop a permanent model. Please welcome the latest additions to our team.

Dominique “Peak” Johnson is a native of North Philadelphia, a graduate from The Community College of Philadelphia and is currently studying journalism at Temple University.  Johnson’s writing career began in 2002 when he and others developed a teen community newspaper known as The North Philly Metropolis, a publication of the nonprofit organization Project HOME. After serving as editor of the teen-produced newspaper for six years, Johnson has since written for various publications, both print and online. Currently Johnson writes for The Huffington Post. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/peak-johnson

Aaron J. Moser is a rising senior producer for War News Radio at Swarthmore College, where he is focusing on psychology, Spanish, and Latin American studies. Moser covered stories on Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and served as the intern and liaison between WNR and the Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility at Swarthmore. Moser and his WNR colleagues were recently honored with a Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. http://warnewsradio.org/

Several supporters have been contributing to GunCrisis.org from behind the scenes and we expect staff expansion to continue soon.
