Young man in critical condition after shooting; possibly witnessed over webcam

6ABC reports: It happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at a home on the 1900 block of East Cumberland Street in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.

According to philly.com: Initial police reports described the shooting as “self-inflicted” and investigators were looking into the possibility the young man was on a webcam at the time. The young man was reported in extremely critical condition and on life support

FOX29 is reporting: Police say an 18-year-old man and a friend were on a webcam, talking to another person, when the friend brought out a gun. (video report)

According to NBC10: Police are working to determine whether the shooting was an accident, intentional or if the 18-year-old shot himself. They are also wondering if the person on the other end of the web chat witnessed the shooting. (Video report)

CBS3 is reporting: Authorities say the 22 and 13-year-olds were brothers and the 18-year-old was their friend. (Video report)
