#GunCrisis: Philadelphia updates: 06.13.12

A suspect in last month’s murder at a Philadelphia Jiffy Lube shop has been arrested in Florida. Philly.com adds: David Reyes, who allegedly shot a man to death in broad daylight at a Jiffy Lube in Port Richmond, was tracked down and arrested by US Marshals in Jacksonville Fla. Tuesday morning. CBS3 is reporting that a man is dead after a shooting in Frankford on Tuesday. NBC10 says the 23-year-old man was shot once through the neck, according to police. 6ABC reports that police were called to the 4700 block of Griscom Street shortly before 7:00 p.m.

CBS3 is also reporting that Philadelphia Police are investigating the shooting death of a man at about 11 p.m. in the 1000 block of W. Cumberland Street in North Philadelphia. 6ABC says that police are searching for five people who fled the scene.

Police say that another man was shot on Gaskill Street near 4th late Monday night, according to philly.com. The man was shot twice in his back just after 11p.m. NBC10 adds that the victim was rushed to Jefferson University Hospital in stable condition and that police are looking for two men in connection with the incident.

In Delaware, a young mother was found dead in her home just after 1:30 a.m. this morning: According to NBC10, police say that they were alerted to the crime when Monique Boyce’s 25-year-old boyfriend walked up to an officer at a nearby McDonald’s and told police he had been shot in the torso inside the North Madison house. 6ABC adds: Boyce’s children, a 10-day-old baby and a 4-year-old, were also found in the home. The children were not harmed and are now staying with family members.

In Atlantic City, authorities say that the same house has been hit by gunshots at least twice in the last week, according to CBS3.

In Alabama, a suspect has surrendered in connection with a shooting that left three dead and three more injured at a pool part near Auburn University, according to CBS News.
