#GunCrisis: Philadelphia updates: 6.29.12

Police officers hold the crime scene after a 38-year-old woman was shot near her house in the Johnson Homes, on Berks Street near 26th in North Philadelphia Monday night. She was hit once in the back of her upper thigh, cops said, and taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition, according to Morgan Zalot at the Philadelphia Daily News: “Cops said they found 21 shell casings that appeared to be from three different weapons at the scene, and investigators said nobody witnessed the shooting and the victim claimed that she did not see who shot her.” Photo by Joe Kaczmarek.
