Philadelphia Police say they shot a teen in the chest after they witnessed him allegedly shooting another teen, according to NBC10. CBS3 reports that officers tried to arrest the suspect at that location, where they say he pointed a gun at them.
6ABC has a brief video report, adding that the teen gun suspect was transported to Hahnemann Hospital with a graze wound to the chest. Both victims were also hospitalized. All three are listed in stable condition.
Philly.com quotes Philadelphia Police Commissioner Ramsey — and has an additional photo from the scene.
Ramsey: “The officer saw him shoot the other person, and he ordered him to drop the gun. He didn’t, and [the officer] shot him.”
Last night, GunCrisis.org shared some police dispatch audio from the scene.
