Philly Police release surveillance video of armed robbery suspects

Philadelphia Police have released this video of an armed robbery at a Checkers restaurant.

From blog.phillypolice.com: On July 8, 2012, at 11:05am, two unknown males entered the Checkers restaurant located at 2440 Island Avenue while employees were behind the counter preparing food. Once inside, the suspects went into the restroom and upon exiting the restroom one of the suspects was armed with a gun. Both suspects had their faces covered with white cloth and were wearing purple rubber gloves. The suspects then jumped over the counter and forced an employee into the back office and opened the safe taking $6,000 in cash. The suspects then took approximately $100 in cash from the cash registers. Both suspects were observed walking across the parking lot to Wheeler Street and getting into an awaiting tan mini van and fled.

If you see these suspects do not approach them, contact 911 immediately.
