Gunman shoots five people at Philadelphia house party

Police officers search a man on West Thompson Street in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia early Sunday morning after five people were shot while attending a house party.

Police said a gunman fired numerous shots, striking two women and three men. Officers transported about a dozen witnesses from the location to Central Detectives for questioning.

Police told 6ABC that  two men got into an argument when one pulled out a gun and began shooting, but that no arrests had been made.

According to NBC10, police say the victim ran inside the crowded house after being shot outside, and was followed by the gunman who continued to fire.

A 24-year-old man, 25-year-old woman and 25-year-old man were all taken to Hahnemann Hospital. A 25-year-old woman and 24-year-old man were taken to Temple Hospital. Police say all of the shooting victims are currently in stable condition.
