One man killed, another in extremely critical condition after Friday night shooting in East Mount Airy

Police said shots rang out on Sharpnack Street between Chew Avenue and Musgrave Street about 8:34 p.m. and the unidentified 23-year-old victim was wounded in his head, chest, back and three times in his leg, according to philly.com. A 26-year-old man was wounded in his chest and leg.

6ABC says the younger victim was rushed to Einstein Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later. NBC10 adds that the second victim, a 26-year-old was listed in extremely critical condition at Einstein.
