Awakening conscience through photojournalism

Sometimes we struggle to help everyone understand how we believe that photojournalism can be leveraged as an agent for change to reduce gun violence.

Joe Kaczmarek just came across this video profile of Jacob Riis, who used the same tactics to “awaken the conscience of the country” to the reality of poverty in New York City in the 19th century.
