The PURPOSE of the 2012 HANDS FOR PEACE ACROSS SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA and YEADON is to show the world that love and compassion are still alive and well in Philadelphia – and that our partners in cooperation and collaboration don’t stop at the City limits – but extend throughout Philadelphia, Southwest Philadelphia, and into Yeadon Borough and Delaware County.

This event will highlight the personal responsibility that each of us takes to create peace – and how necessary we are to one another to succeed in this.
