A GunCrisis follower came up with this scanner audio after a Chalfont, PA police officer reported that he had been shot during a traffic stop early Monday morning.
While informing his dispatcher of a traffic stop, Officer Jon Cousin can be heard suddenly yelling “Get back in the car!”
After the dispatcher sends backup units, Cousin can be heard calmly reporting “I’ve been hit in the chest. I think my vest stopped it.” A moment later he adds. “Get a medic here please.”
Cousin was treated at a local hospital and released. This audio was edited for brevity and volume.
