In the news: The GunCrisis Reporting Project

A new article at Fast Company’s co.EXIST site takes the latest look at the The GunCrisis Reporting Project.

We won’t start celebrating before we can point to evidence of violence reduction, but attention is currency in digital media and we view publicity as an important step in building a movement of people and organizations demanding solutions to the epidemic of homicide by gunfire in Philadelphia.

Previously, CNN, CBSPhilly, WHYY’s Radio Times and others have aired broadcast reports and interviews focused on our project and mission.

The Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Metro are among newspapers following our progress, and the Metro and the Philadelphia Tribune covered our community outreach event at the Philadelphia City Council as well.

Generocity.org and newsworks.org have checked in online.

Last spring, Tara Murtha wrote about us for the Philadelphia Weekly, and then joined the team.
