This was the sixth shooting at a city playground in just over a month, according to philly.com. He was shot once in the chest and pronounced dead a short time later at Temple University Hospital

CBS3 say that witnesses described the shooter as a man in his 20s, about 5’6” and 200 lbs. He was last seen fleeing on a bike, wearing a multi-colored sweater and multi-colored sneakers.

Over the weekend, several community groups had gathered at the same recreation center for the “Stop Illegal Guns Rally and Peace Concert,” according to CBS3.

A second person was shot to death in the Frankford section of Philadelphia later Monday night.
