#GunCrisis Solution of the Day: Keep us informed

We are experimenting with some new tools — and hoping to hear more from you.

Now, when you add the #guncrisis hashtag, your tweet will appear along the very top of guncrisis.org, after a brief delay — and until another tagged tweet follows.

There may be some exceptions when we take over the top line for breaking news alerts or community promotions, but if you see a tweet in place, yours can be next.

The same tweet will also appear in the Twitter widget at guncrisis.org/latest/. And we sometimes move that widget to the home page when news is breaking fast.

You can always chime in — even anonymously — by using the Live Chat window in the lower part of the right column. Or, catch us on Twitter @guncrisisnews for local news and @guncrisisUS for national incidents and issues. You can also reach us at Facebook.com/GunCrisis, by email using info@guncrisis.org and on the phone at (215) 882-9867.

Let’s work together to keep our community informed and find solutions to the epidemic of homicide by gunfire in Philadelphia.
