Police investigate a shooting inside a barbershop in West Philadelphia on Wednesday Oct. 10, 2012. A 61-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot in the abdomen and the ear during an attempted robbery of the barbershop he was visiting, police said. Shortly before 8 p.m. two armed men entered Eddie’s barbershop at 60th Street and Race Street and announced the robbery to the two elderly men inside when the victim picked up a lamp and chased the robbers from the shop who then fired twice as they fled, wounding the man with the lamp, police said.
