Medics rushed the victim, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.
According to police officials, surveillance video shows two men arguing inside Big Fella’s Sports Bar and then stepping outside and engaging in a brief fight.
6 ABC reported that, according to police, one man punched another, and the other man then pulled out a gun and fired five shots.
Cops found five .380 shell casings at the scene and the victim’s blood, according to philly.com.
NBC10 says that the shooter fled on foot, last seen running north on 33rd, according to investigators.
In a separate incident just a few minutes earlier, a 24-year-old man was shot twice during a reported robbery in the Oxford Circle section of the city and was hospitalized in critical condition, according to sources.
