Two dead, one critical after four shooting incidents Tuesday in Philadelphia

Police investigators examine the scene where a 40-year-old man was shot and killed in the doorway of a home on the 400 block of East Rockland Street in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia around 8 p.m. Tuesday night. According to police, two masked men followed the victim and his wife to their home and shot the man in the head. Another man was shot and killed Tuesday in a separate incident in South Philadelphia. The 21-year-old victim was pronounced dead on the scene by medics after he was shot at about 4:20 p.m. on the 1800 block of Juniper Street.

At about 9 p.m., a 36-year-old man was shot in the abdomen on the 900 block of East Schiller Street and rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he was reported in critical condition, according to police sources.

Earlier Tuesday, at about 11 a.m., a 22-year-old man arrived at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with a gunshot wound to the leg, and reported that he had been shot on the 5900 block of Market Street.
