Drive-by shooters kill man Wednesday night in the Fairhill section of Philadelphia

Investigators gather around the body of a 29-year-old man who was shot and killed outside a bar on the corner of Lawrence and Cambria Streets in the Fairhill section of Philadelphia just before 11 p.m. Wednesday night. Photographs for the GunCrisis Reporting Project by Joseph Kaczmarek.

Responding medics pronounced the victim dead on the scene a few minutes later and police were examining video from several nearby surveillance cameras.

According to philly.com, a witness told police that a group of males pulled up in a vehicle and opened fire on the victim.

NBC10 is reporting that the dead man was struck at least six times and that police are looking for a gold pick-up truck with a shattered back window.
