Police investigators and a fire department hazardous materials team worked together to remove the body of a man found covered in lime Sunday, at the same address where another man was found shot to death on Saturday. Photographs by Joseph Kaczmarek for the GunCrisis Reporting Project.

Police said that man appeared to have been both shot and stabbed, according to philly.com. He remained unidentified Sunday, but was estimated to be roughly 35 to 45 years old.

The victim was found under a pile of trash and covered in lime, apparently intended to accelerate the decay of the body, according to CBS3.

NBC10 reported that investigators also found six .45 caliber spent casings along with drug paraphernalia. Police believe both victims were killed Saturday, according to 6ABC.

At least seven people were killed and seven more were wounded by gunfire over the weekend in Philadelphia.
