Philadelphia region responds with vigils after Connecticut school shooting

Events are emerging across the Philadelphia region in response to the school shooting in Connecticut. Use email — — or any of the social media tools at right to let us know about yours.

2 p.m.Philadelphians for Common Sense About Guns promise to “demonstrate for CHANGE!!!!!” at 2 p.m. Sunday on Broad Street, south of City Hall.

9 p.m.: Candlelight vigil in front of Parrish Hall at Swarthmore College.
6 p.m.: A Hundred+ Hearts Hurting: Simon Gratz High School.
5 p.m.: Art not guns: 5601 Greene Street in Germantown.
