In Pennsylvania, another Newtown remembers shooting victims

Holding their children close, community members in Newtown Pennsylvania, about 150 miles from last week’s mass shooting scene in Connecticut, came together Sunday night to remember the victims of the tragedy.

During a multi-faith prayer vigil at the Lutheran Church of God’s Love, young Madilynn Knapp and Morgan Johnson were overcome with emotion as they expressed their feelings.

Lynn Adams and her three-year-old daughter Kinley were among many lighting candles in remembrance.

The community included the name of the shooter in the vigil , as well as 20 children and six adult staff members were shot to death Friday morning at the Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Joe Kaczmarek covered the ceremonies for the GunCrisis Reporting Project.
