Police seek suspect after South Philadelphia shooting; release surveillance video

Philadelphia Police officials have released surveillance video of a shooting incident in Monday night in South Philadelphia.

According to phillypolice.com:

On December 23, 2012, at 8:15pm, the complainant, a 45 year-old male, along with a five year-old child were parked in the Walgreen’s parking lot located at 2300 Oregon Avenue.

Moments later an unknown male pulled up in a possible Ford vehicle, exited the vehicle then pulled a handgun and fired several shots striking the complainant multiple times, however the child was not injured.

The offender then entered the vehicle and fled the area in an unknown direction. There may also have been a second male in the offenders vehicle.

Suspect Description: Black male, 5’10”-6’2″, 220 lbs, wearing a black jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans. Vehicle Description: Dark gray ford sedan possibly a Taurus or Fusion with a partial tag of FSH-456.
