Neighbors watched police investigate the crime scene after two men were found shot to death inside a home on the 600 block of Fitzgerald Street in South Philadelphia Friday evening. Joseph Kaczmarek covered the scene for the Gun Crisis Reporting Project.
The younger victim, 44, was found in a hallway of the home, according to NBC10, and a 53-year-old victim was found in a bedroom.
According to CBS3, authorities say the discovery was made by the mother of one of the victims, who lives across the street.
Police evacuated several homes overnight after finding an what they believe was a pipe bomb inside the home, according to 6ABC. The bomb squad was called in and the device was removed without incident or injuries.
