Man and woman wounded in Harrowgate shootings overnight; within an hour and just blocks apart

Kelly 2rPolice investigated as the victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital shortly after he walked Popo’s bar at East Russel and I Streets, looking for help shortly before 1 a.m. Police said that the victim also appeared to have been beaten.

A 25-year-old woman turned up at Episcopal Hospital with arm and chest wounds about an hour earlier, reporting that she had been shot in the area of Kensington Avenue and East Thayer Streets, just a few blocks from the Russell Street incident. She was reported in stable condition.
