Memorial of the Lost coming to Vernon Park in Germantown this weekend

This weekend, organizers are planning to install the exhibit at a new location: Vernon Park at 5818 Germantown Avenue, in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. <map>

Schwabenland 2rAccording to Heeding God’s Call, the new installation is jointly sponsored by the Germantown Mennonite Church, First Presbyterian Church of Germantown, First United Methodist Church of Germantown, and Heeding God’s Call.

Volunteers are gathering to plant the crosses and hang the T-shirts at 1 p.m. this Saturday, March 23, and will hold dedication at 2 p.m. Organizers have designated March 24th as a rain date if needed.
