Victim shot in the head Friday evening in West Philadelphia; three more wounded in separate incidents across the city

The 24-year-old victim was shot on the 4600 block of Parrish Street in West Philadelphia shortly after 6 p.m.

Authorities found the man in the rear driveway of an apartment complex with a gunshot wound to the head, according to 6ABC. CBS3 reported that the victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

In other incidents reported across Philadelphia on Friday:

  • A 36-year-old man was reported in critical condition after he was shot multiple times on the 1200 block of South 22nd Street in Point Breeze at about 11 p.m. Friday.
  • A 16-year-old was reported in stable condition after he was shot in the leg with a BB gun on the 2400 block of East Ann Street in Port Richmond late Friday night.
  • A 32-year-old man was reported stable after he was shot in the leg Friday afternoon on the 4200 block of Frankford Avenue.
