Police investigate shooting scene early Monday in West Philadelphia

Kelly2LAccording to police, a man in his early 20s suffered a single gunshot wound to his right leg, and was rushed by medics to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was reported in stable condition.

According to the latest Philadelphia Police statistics, the city suffered a 123 percent month-to-month spike in homicides over the last month.
