Mapped: One dead, four wounded in shooting incidents reported Thursday across Philadelphia


A 42-year-old man was reported in stable condition after he was shot in the arm on 52nd Street near Market in West Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

A 21-year-old man was shot once on the 200 block of East Haines Street in Germantown shortly after noon Thursday.

Medics pronounced a man dead on location after he was found with multiple gunshot wounds late Thursday afternoon in a vacant property on the 6500 block of Linmore Avenue in the Elmwood section of Southwest Philadelphia.

A 25-year-old man was reported in critical condition after he was shot five times in the area of 4600 Lesher Street in Frankford at about 5 p.m. Thursday.

A 22-year-old man was reported in stable condition after he was shot in the leg in the area of 1200 West Chew Avenue in Fern Rock at about 10:15 Thursday night.
