The first shooting victim of the weekend, a 41-year-old woman, was reported in stable condition after she was wounded in the leg Friday night on the 1600 block of Brill Street in the Frankford section of the city.
Police we investigating whether the incident could have been related to fights on the block earlier in Friday, according to the Philadelphia Daily News, adding that it was unclear if the woman was the intended target.
Early Saturday morning, a 22-year-old man was reported in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after he was shot in the hip on the 2300 block of South 61st Street.
An unidentified man was shot to death on South Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets in Queen Village overnight. Two masked men allegedly shot and killed the victim and fled on foot, according to 6ABC.
A 24-year-old man was reported in stable condition at Temple University Hospital after he was shot in the leg in the are of 2nd and Cumberland Streets in Fairhill section of the city.
On Saturday, a 16-year-old boy was reported in stable condition at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia after he was shot in the leg Saturday on the 5100 block of Irving Street in West Philadelphia.
A 20-year-old man was reported in stable condition at Einstein Medical Center after he was shot twice in the back Saturday evening.
Four shooting victims have been reported in stable condition after they were wounded in an incident Saturday night in East Germantown. An 18-year-old was shot once in the right shoulder, a 16-year-old was shot in the chest, a 15-year-old and a 20-year-old were both shot in the leg.
Medics rushed a 47-year-old man to Temple University Hospital, where he was reported in stable condition after he was shot in the leg on the 3400 block of North 9th Street in the Franklinville section of North Philadelphia shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday.
The final victim reported was an 18-year-old man who was shot in the chest on the 1300 block of Gilham Street in the Oxford Circle section of the city shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday.
