Feltonville shooting leaves 18-year-old in critical condition

Investigators gather on Rorer Street near East Wyoming Avenue in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia after an 18-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting incident at about 1 a.m. Tuesday. Photographs for the Gun Crisis Reporting Project by Joseph Kaczmarek.

Rorer Street ShootingAccording to police, the victim was shot five times on the sidewalk and was transported in a patrol car to Temple University Hospital. Neighbors who gathered around the crime scene said they had been awakened by several loud gunshots.

Police said they were reviewing video of the incident taken from a private security camera. According to a report from 6ABC, the victim had suffered wounds to the neck and thigh.
