Police removed this shotgun from the crime scene.

Police arrested Woods’ longtime boyfriend Gregory Twyman at the scene and said that he shot her twice at close range with a shotgun.

Twyman resided at the same home and the couple shared an 18-year-old daughter.

Twyman was arraigned late Wednesday night before Magisterial District Judge Harry W. Farmer Jr. in Downingtown, PA, where he faced homicide and related charges. He was denied bail, and sent to Chester County Prison until his preliminary hearing.

The Daily Local News reported that, according to a criminal complaint filed by investigators, Tyman dialed 911 about 12:10 p.m. with a chilling admission: “I need the police; I just shot my girlfriend,”
