Surveillance video: Police seek suspects following AK-47 attack in Elmwood


The Philadelphia Police Department is turning to the public for help identifying suspects following a shooting earlier this month in the Elmwood section of Philadelphia.

According to phillypolice.com: On May 11, 2013, at 1:55am, two males were involved in a dispute with the management and bouncers of the Purple Orchard Gentleman’s Club located at 3275 South 61st Street. When the suspects were removed from the club, suspect #1 returned minutes later armed with an AK-47 rifle and fired numerous shots into a vehicle parked in the lot. The suspect then entered the club and fired several more shots inside. The suspect then fled the club entering a light colored sedan possibly a Hyundai or Mitsubishi driven by suspect #2. One person was struck by gunfire but is not life threatening.
