Four more men were shot — one fatally — in separate incidents reported across Philadelphia early Thursday morning:
Medics rushed a 21-year-old man to Temple University Hospital, where he was reported in stable condition after he was shot in the back on Shelbourne Street near Allegheny Avenue, just before 1 a.m. in the Kensington section of the city.
Shortly before 2 a.m., a man estimated to be in his 50s was shot to death on the 2500 block of Jasper Street in Kensington. Police said the victim was shot in the face at point blank range, according to a 6ABC report. According to NBC10, police believe the victim lived nearby.
Shortly after 2 a.m., a 31-year-old man was shot in the head on the 2200 block of North Cleveland Street, near Susquehanna Avenue in North Philadelphia. Police rushed the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was reported in critical condition.
Finally, a 53-year-old man was reported stable at Temple after he was shot twice in Whitaker Avenue in Crescentville. Police said he was the victim of a robbery, acceding to CBS3.
Another man was killed in a double shooting earlier Wednesday night in North Philadelphia. Three more men were shot — one fatally — in gunpoint confrontations with police officers across the city on Wednesday.
