Mantua shooting leaves man in critical condition Friday night

32nd Street ShootingPolice rushed the 21-year-old victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was placed in critical condition.

Officials said that the victim was shot him six times – four times in the torso and twice in the groin and upper legs, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Authorities told CBS3 that an 18-year-old suspect was in custody after a foot chase with police.

Officers located a large revolver on the sidewalk which they said they believed to be the weapon used to shoot the victim.
