According to police, a man in a car opened fire on a 21-year-old woman — who is five months pregnant — striking her three times, and striking a 29-year-old man twice. A 24-year-old woman was grazed in her leg when a second gunman returned fire on the car, police added.
Responding officers rushed the pregnant woman to Temple University Hospital, where she was initially reported in critical condition, although later media reports said she had been upgraded to stable. Investigators said they located two different caliber shell casings, which had been fired, and a 9mm handgun from the scene.

In the next incident, a 27-year-old man was shot in the hand just before 11 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 65th Avenue and 17th Street in West Oak Lane. The victim was reported in stable condition at Einstein Medical Center.
Just after midnight, a 23-year-old man was shot in the leg in the area of 21st and Dickinson Streets in the Point Breeze section of the city. 6ABC reported that victim in stable condition.
