A crowd of patrons from a nearby nightclub watch as police investigate the scene where a car ran out of gas while the driver was rushing a shooting victim to the hospital early Tuesday morning in North Philadelphia. Photographs for the Gun Crisis Reporting Project by Joseph Kaczmarek.
The victim’s brother was rushing the wounded man to Temple University Hospital when their car ran out of gas outside a busy night club at the intersection of Germantown and Rising Sun Avenues.
They flagged down a taxi to take them the rest of the way. Police said the victim was listed in critical condition.
