According to police, the victim was taken to Hahnemann Hospital and listed in stable condition with gunshot wounds the right hand, leg and abdomen. A shell casing was resting in the street, as seen at left.

NBC10 points out that Philadelphia homicides to date are by far at the lowest level in the past seven years since the Philadelphia Police Department began posting year-to-date homicide numbers online.
On Monday morning, Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams tweeted that homicides in Philadelphia are down 29.52% this year, with 148 people killed, compared with 210 on the same date in 2012.
