Temple Hospital ShootingAccording to police, officers driving on Broad Street heard several gunshots and turned around to find a 28-year-old man lying on the sidewalk at Broad and Ontario Streets, and suffering from several gunshot wounds to the lower extremities.

NBC10 reported that the victim was shot seven times with the large caliber gun. According to CBS3, police rushed the victim to the emergency department, where he was reported in critical condition.

Temple University sent alerts reporting that no Temple students or personnel were involved.

As we reported earlier, three people were killed and eight more were wounded by gun violence across Philadelphia Monday.
