Medics rushed a shooting victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after he was shot multiple times on South 52nd Street near Cedar Avenue in West Philadelphia at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. A second victim from the same incident was also treated for a hand wound at HUP.
Two men were wounded in a shooting incident shortly before 7 p.m. on Mountain Street, near 20th and Morris Streets in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia. A 22-year-old man was wounded in the elbow and buttocks and a 21-year-old man was shot in the hand.
