Police found the 25-year-old man shot on North Hagert Street, near North 27th and Cumberland Streets shortly before 1:30 a.m. Medics rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he was reported in critical condition.

Less than an hour earlier, a 44-year-old man was wounded in shooting reported only three blocks away. Altogether, seven people have been shot this weekend in Philadelphia, including a teen who was killed Saturday night at the scene of a prior shooting in West Oak Lane.
