Latest Philadelphia shootings leave one teen dead and another wounded

N. Colorado Street Critical ShootingAccording to police, officers found a 16-year-old on the sidewalk on North Colorado Street, near Cumberland and 17th Streets, at about 5:15 p.m. He had been shot in the head, and police rushed him to Temple University Hospital, but he was pronounced dead at around 10 p.m.

The Philadelphia Inquirer and 6ABC also have reports.

In a separate incident, another 16-year-old was reported to be in stable condition Friday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with a leg wound. He said that he had been shot in the area of 61st and Noble Streets in the Haddington section of West Philadelphia.
