Tuesday’s incidents — in chronological order:
Medics rushed a 29-year-old man to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after he was shot in the leg just after midnight Tuesday morning on South 65th Street near Greenway Avenue in the Mount Moriah section of Southwest Philadelphia.
A 22-year-old man was shot to death a few minutes after midnight Tuesday morning on South 17th Street near Dickinson Street in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia. Police have identified him as nearby resident William McCutchen, 22, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Medics rushed a 30-year-old man to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition after he was shot around 1 p.m. Wednesday on North Marston Street, near 27th and York Streets in North Philadelphia.
A 37-year-old man was stable at Temple University Hospital, wounded twice shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday in a shooting reported at 29th Street and Hunting Park Avenue in North Philadelphia.
DOUBLE SHOOTING, ONE VICTIM CRITICAL:
One man was critical with multiple gunshot wounds and a second was stable with a leg wound — both at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania — after a shooting around 5 p.m. Tuesday on Haverford Avenue in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia.
Police rushed a 19-year-old man to Temple University Hospital but he was pronounced dead a short time later, after he was shot in the back around 6:20 p.m. at 4th and Courtland Streets in Feltonville. Police have identified the victim as Craig Thomas, 19, of Feltonville, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. View our report from the scene: Fatal shooting Tuesday in Feltonville
SHOOTING VICTIM; CRITICAL CONDITION:
Police rushed a 34-year-old man to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was listed in critical condition after he was shot in the face inside a hotel just after 7 p.m. Tuesday on Island Avenue near Lindbergh Boulevard in the Eastwick section of Southwest Philadelphia.
Police cars rushed two men — ages 20 and 25 – to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where both were reported in stable condition after each suffered multiple gunshot wounds around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the are of 51st and Race Streets in the Dunlap section of West Philadelphia.
DOUBLE SHOOTING; BOTH VICTIMS CRITICALLY WOUNDED:
Two men — ages 20 and 23 — were listed in critical condition at Temple University Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds after they was struck around 8:30 p.m. on West Cumberland Street near North 29th in the Strawberry Mansion section of North Philadelphia.
Note: This report does not include a self-inflicted shooting reported Tuesday.
