Police rushed a 31-year-old man to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition after he was shot in the ankle shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday night in the area of North 8th Street and West Allegheny Avenue. A 44-year-old man was shot in the leg late Saturday afternoon in a parking lot on Girard Avenue near 9th Street in North Philadelphia. Earlier reports that he was shot in Northeast Philadelphia are not accurate.
