Shooting in Mantua:
Police rushed a 22-year-old man to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after he was shot inside a home shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday on Brandywine Street near 37th Street in the Mantua section of Philadelphia.
Authorities said an alleged thief broke in while the residents were home, including students from Drexel University, University of Pennsylvania and Temple University, according to NBC10: http://ow.ly/xCclo Officials said one of the students pulled a gun and shot the man, the report said.

Police said a Trenton man was shot early Wednesday during an armed robbery, according to nj.com: http://ow.ly/xC89p The masked assailant took the man’s pants which contained about $200 in the pockets and fled on foot.

Shooting in Wynnefield:
A 23-year-old man was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania early Wednesday after he was shot at about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday on Wynnefield Avenue near Bryn Mawr Avenue in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia.

As we reported last night, police rushed a woman to Einstein Medical Center with an arm wound after she was shot in the area of Crowson Street and East Church Lane in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. We have learned that she was listed in stable condition.
