A 67-year-old man was reported in critical condition after he was shot during a robbery around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, outside a shooting range on Geiger Street in the Bustleton section of Northeast Philadelphia.

Joe Kaczmarek was on the scene for GunCrisis.org and we will have a full report Friday morning. Police sources say this was the second armed robbery outside a Philadelphia shooting range in two days.

North Philadelphia shooting:

Police rushed a 48-year-old woman to Temple University Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition after she was shot twice around 9:15 p.m. on North 7th Street in the Hartranft section of North Philadelphia.

Gun range robbery and shooting:

Police rushed a 67-year-old man to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital, where he was reported in critical condition after he was shot during a robbery around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, outside a shooting range on Geiger Street in the Bustleton section of Northeast Philadelphia.

Police sources say this was the second armed robbery outside a Philadelphia shooting range in two days.

Shooting in Kingesing:

Police rushed a 29-year-old man to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was reported in critical condition after he was shot in the head around 7 p.m. on Beaumont Street near 56th Street in the Kingsessing section of Southwest Philadelphia.

Feltonville shooting:

A 21-year-old man was shot just after 8 p.m. Wednesday at B and Loudon Streets in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia. Joe Kaczmarek covered the scene for the Gun Crisis Reporting Project.

Investigators said one stray bullet pierced the side of a tractor trailer parked next to the Feltonville recreation center where a softball game had been underway.

Police found 14 spent shell casings from two different caliber weapons in a driveway and a semi-automatic pistol underneath a car.

Investigators said the victim arrived at Temple University Hospital with a thigh wound and was listed in stable condition.

Philadelphia police have arrested 19-year-old Orlando Garcia of Kensington in connection with the shooting death of 28-year-old Omar Rodriguez in North Philadelphia on April 9th, according to CBS3: http://ow.ly/xVfGG
