An 18-year-old man was shot twice in the chest late this afternoon on Wolf Street near 5th Street in South Philadelphia. Medics rushed him to Temple University Hospital.

Homicide in East Germantown:

Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene after he was shot in the head around 5:45 a.m. Friday on East Walnut lane near Germantown Avenue in the the East Germantown section of Philadelphia.

As we reported Thursday night, a 48-year-old woman was shot in North Philadelphia around 9:15 p.m.

Woman wounded early Friday:

Police rushed a 31-year-old woman to Temple University Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition after she was shot in the arm just after 1 a.m. Friday at North Broad and Wingohocking Streets, in the area where the Hunting Park, Logan and Nicetown neighborhoods come together.
