Latest Philadelphia shootings::

Medics pronounced a 31-year-old man dead on location after he was shot in the head on South 60th Street near Kingsessing Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday in Southwest Philadelphia.

Police rushed a critically wounded 21-year-old man to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after he was shot multiple times around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on Edgemore Road near Lebanon Avenue in the Overbrook section of the city.

Woman shot in Northeast Philadelphia:

Police rushed a 23-year-old woman to the Aria Health Torresdale Campus after we was critically wounded in a shooting reported around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday on Haldeman Avenue near Conwell Avenue in the Bustleton section of Northeast Philadelphia.

Woman shot in Northeast Philadelphia:

Police rushed a 23-year-old woman to the Aria Health Torresdale Campus after we was critically wounded in a shooting reported around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday on Haldeman Avenue near Conwell Avenue in the Bustleton section of Northeast Philadelphia.

Man wounded in East Germantown

Medics rushed a 26-year-old man to Einstein Medical Center after he was shot Tuesday night on West Spencer Street, near 21st Street in the East Germantown section of Philadelphia. According to police, a man was smoking a cigarette on his front step when he was shot twice in the thigh, shortly after 11 p.m.

Police said two people on bikes exchanged words with the victim before the shots were fired, according to 6ABC: http://ow.ly/yaHMX Investigators said one of them fired at least six shots, NBC10 reported: http://ow.ly/yaHUv

Foot chase follows gun call:

A Philadelphia Police officer and his dog search for evidence after police received a report of a person with a gun overnight on Fontain Street, near North 16th and West Diamond Streets in North Philadelphia.

Police handcuffed one man at the scene.
